Their compact, curly growth gives Bonnie Spider Plants a distinctive look compared with traditional spider plant varieties. As they mature, they may also produce long stems with baby spider plants, or spiderettes, that can eventually be propagated.

Bright, indirect light is ideal for healthy growth and maintaining variegation. Bonnie Spider Plants can tolerate lower-light conditions, although growth may be slower. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight.

💧 Water

Allow the upper portion of the soil to begin drying between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

💦 Humidity

Average household humidity is generally suitable. Very dry conditions may contribute to brown leaf tips.

🌡️ Temperature

Bonnie Spider Plants do well in typical indoor temperatures. Keep them away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

🌱 Growth

Bonnie develops its characteristic curls as it grows and matures. Established plants may produce trailing stems with small spiderettes that can eventually be propagated into new plants.

Spider plants (Chlorophytum comosum) are generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs. As with any houseplant, it's still best to discourage pets from chewing on the foliage.
